Public Presentations and Events

Educational events and public presentations have always played a key role in the Museum's goal of bringing education to the community. LAMP and the Lighthouse host a regular series of public events that highlight maritime history and archaeology. Some of these events focus on fun and family, like our famous Lighthouse Festival, while others are more academic in nature, including presentations by invited lecturers or dive training workshops. In addition to these major events, LAMP staff has made numerous presentations throughout the region at schools, museums, civic groups, dive clubs and other organizations.

If you would like to schedule a tour of our laboratory and exhibits for your organization, please contact Carianne Kinney at 904-829-0745 or ckinney@staugustinelighthouse.com. LAMP staff is also available for public presentations, as their schedule will allow (a small honorarium is requested from organizations able to afford one). Contact our Director of Education at the above phone/email for further information or availability.
